Working within the realm of abstract painting is something that has always been a major element within the work of Zero Gradient. Over the years of his practice so many of his paintings (and alternative works) have included elements of what makes a painting an abstract painting – expressing emotion, atmosphere and ideas through colours, shapes and textures rather than a realistic representation of these objects. Though it could be said that the majority of his work has an abstract element within it, this portfolio is specifically dedicated to the work that is purely abstract in nature rather than just having abstract elements.
